We have all seen them. We have all photographed them. Now its time to share them. Let's see your shots of rail equipment that no longer functions as such. You know, the coach that is now a diner. The boxcar shed. The flatcar serving as a bridge...

It will be fun seeing what emerges with this thread.

With yours, John, it's obvious why the horse is happy....someone keft the stock car door open. BTW, did you mean "Antique" to be a noun or an adjective? :tb-wacky:

LOL, I meant it as in "we have all these antiques, let's store them in the antique boxcar" ;)

Nice shots Steve. That Santa Fe boxcar paint is in really good shape. Nice angles on the DSNG equipment too ;)

Some old Rio Grande box cars that appear to act as covered storage at a salvage yard in Grand Junction, CO.

An old box car appears to be a storage shed in the small U.P. yard in Delta, CO.

I'm not sure what they use this old caboose for but it is located in the Wyman Court Yard in Silverton, CO.

I've not seen many cars chopped up into mini-sheds like that.

    South of Rodeo.

There's also what looks like a heavyweight out in the weeds near town, someone could possibly get close or take a big lens out there.
