Heads up if you had not heard yet - American Model Builders (www.laserkit.com) has closed. I just heard about it this morning. If you want any more of their kits, probably better buy them from your favorite vendor while you can. I placed a pretty good order myself this morning!
I think 3D printing is going to be the end of a lot of these model builder companies. With everything getting so expensive now, people can design and print their own model structures for a fraction of the cost of what the kits often cost.
I sure hope someone buys the plans for the kits and can keep producing them. Some of those kits satisfy many needs that otherwise are not available. The stations particularly. I do like some easy kits or ready to place products but I do like the satisfaction that comes with a more involved build like the AMB kits.
Bummer. I recently assembled one of their signal towers and a bunch of flat car generator loads. Very nice kits.
