American Z Line has released Southern Railway E7 diesel locomotives. They are available as A units only. The locomotives are of all brass construction. They feature 10mm Faulhauber motor, directional controlled lighted, AZL couplers and intricate details. Four road numbers have been released; 2914, 2916, 2918 and 2919. Supplies are very limited. Thanks Dan. I never could tell the differences. It would be nice if somebody made a NS office special. I am not a fan of NS, but I would get one anyway.
John, In general, the EMD F Units are just under 51' in length and have 2 axle trucks. The E units are over 70' long with 3 axle trucks. The Es were designed for passenger the Fs were designed for freight, but many saw passenger service. Dan S.
