I am trying to assemble an Amtrak California Zephyr consists of the 1980's. This train was made up of the combined CZ/Desert Wind and Pioneer between Denver and SLC, but I don't know what kinds of cars were in each section making up the train of 10-11 Superliner cars plus dorm/coach, baggage and MHCs. I think the Pioneer and Desert wind had 2 coaches and 1 sleeper, a diner and possibly a loung but when they were combined with the CZ east of SLC, I think they only had their coaches and sleepers. I also don't know if these coaches were straight coaches or coach baggage cars or in what ratio.
