There's been some discussion of having a new Model forum for all scales called The Freelancers Forum. If you want to support this or not, please post your feelings at the Administration Forum. ------------------ BNSF RAILFAN-TO-THE-MAX! Brent Tidaback, Member #234 and a N-Scaler to boot!
Does freelancing refer to creating entirely fictional roads, or is this for another purpose? Considering the number of road names that exist only in miniature, I would think that this could be a valid area. ------------------ Jenks - the REAL Big Blue
Free-Lance Railroads are fictional roads either located in a real or fictional location. Proto Free-Lance are fictional roads that are based on Proto-type operations and Proto-type roads based in a fictional location or real location were the Proto-type does not operate. Proto-type roads are actual roads operating in their actual area of operation. A solution to this is close at hand, watch here and at the Admin-Forum for updates. ------------------ BNSF RAILFAN-TO-THE-MAX! Brent Tidaback, Member #234 and a N-Scaler to boot!
try www.egroups.com http://www.egroups.com/group/pfmsig PFMSIG proto freelance modelers special interest group This may help. SL
Even though I don't do my own road, I think this could be a great site. Just think of all that the model railroading community has learned from the history of the Gorre & Daphetid, Midland Road and Canandaigua Southern, to name but a few. Count this as a yes vote. ------------------ Jenks - the REAL Big Blue
Please cast your votes at the ADMIN-FORUM. The powers-that-be may not see your comments here and they are watching it! A solution is getting closer...STAY TUNED! ------------------ BNSF RAILFAN-TO-THE-MAX! Brent Tidaback, Member #234 and a N-Scaler to boot!
I went to the Admin-forum and found no where to 'cast my vote' in another string was mention to check out 'the Open Forum' so went to (forgot & can't leave herew to go se the name and come back) right after all the RR listings and has a mention of having an open forum, but no listing of an open forum there. Guess I'll have to just sit and pout! No, I hear the BNSF 11:06 west bound, see ya, its only about eight blocks! ------------------ Watash
You had been posting on it at the Admin-Forum, but it recently disappeared. I haven't been informed why yet, but I'll let you know ASAP. Hope you enjoyed your train! LONG LIVE THE BNSF! ------------------ BNSF RAILFAN-TO-THE-MAX! Brent Tidaback, Member #234 and a N-Scaler to boot!
