Let me know if this is something I should not post in the future. We were at Grapefest today, a yearly event at Grapevine tx and while my blog as some general pictures of the event towards the end I thought you might be interested in the first few photo's of the train and inside the passenger car. Again let me know if in the future you would prefer I do not post this kind of stuff.

Those are nice shots of the train. I have no problem with your coverage of the entire event, it looked like it was fun for all who were there.

DO POST!!! Here in the Ready Track is OK. You can also use the Railfan Photos, Railfanning Discussions or Narrow Gauge & Tourist forum. If in doubt, we can always move it for you.

    Keep 'em coming!

Thanks as I almost did not post it as I know we want to keep on subject so please feel free to let me know if I ever cross the line. I do not post any blog links that are not train related in some way. I love trains so much however it really is hard to go some place without a train involved and it can be a pain separating trip/event shots.

    PJ-

Personal photos from a rail related family outing are always fine. It is understandable that not all views from such an excursion will include an actual RR item. The smiling face of a spouse, friend, child, having fun during such an outing is always good. Anything rail related: Collecting railroadiana, railfanning, RR history, any aspect in any scale of model railroading.... Photos of a new automobile, the family dog, snow in a back yard, are the types of things off topic and will be normally be removed- Except: Even a couple of those can be posted (only) in our Cattle Car Forum. (Topics there are usually removed after a thirty day inactivity period.) If you have ever any questions, you can always post a question in our Support Forum, use the "Contact Us" button, or grab a handy Staff member.

Roger that, I normally just use FB or Google+ for that kind of stuff.

    All,

As an FYI, someone looked up that Loco on Google and found it is arguably the oldest active engine.
