I was leafing through a HistoricRail catalog and found a book titled "New York Central Steam Power in the Empire State," which I had not heard of before. Author is Richard Stoving, who has published four prior books using Ed May's great collection of New York Central steam photographs. I had to check it out, so went to The Railroad Press site and found it, ordered it, and it arrived today. If any of you have the other ones that Rich has published, this is just as good. I have only leafed through it, but Ed May's photos are just great. Maps of the various divisions in NY are included. I recommend it without having read the text yet. :tb-biggrin:
