GERMANY: Deutsche Bahn has awarded Ansaldo STS a €13·8m contract to design, supply, install and commission ETCS Level 2 on the Berlin - Rostock route which connects the port of Rostock with TEN-T corridors to southern Italy.Announcing the contract on August 18, Ansaldo STS said it was the company's second major ETCS Level 2 order from DB, and the first to be placed within a framework agreement signed earlier this year.
