Yours truly starting small, freelance, narrow shelf, a-t-r, branchline switching layout on 9' x 7.5' sunporch. Have 3 module frames [were in same location 20 years ago, when N scale l/o there]. Arthritis in hands, bad eyesight[old geezer, LOL] ended N for me. Gave all N scale to youngest sons. Amassed lot of HO over 50 years; sold much of it at local summer train shows. This gave me funds to get other stuff [Atlas HH660, Peco C100 #4 Insulfrogs, HO vehicles, Sergent Engineering. couplers, etc.]. In d.c for the present; have Lenz Set 90/XPA squirreled away. Plan to get 5 Lenz Standard Plus decoders next year; convert locos then. Son gave me enough 12/2 to run buss wiring. Will put SPST switches in block feeders for now, run trains with NOS MRC Tech 3. Will be all Peco C100 flex,#4 & 6 IF turnouts, CI ground throws. Not into anything electronic for now[very tight budget]. Forgot to mention: Twin track swing-down bridge section will span porch doorway.
