I will be working at Walter Reed in DC this week. Please PM me if there are any good shops, or clubs with evening layouts going?
Please send all hobby shop referrals to kmcsjr via Private Message. Read why TrainBoard prefers this.
Yes. As Mark notes- Using the PM system is a very simple and effective way to pass along that information. Boxcab E50
This makes no sense to me. I too, will be in the DC area soon, and would like the same info. Seems to me a quick post here would have helped us both, now some one has to PM me too if they still feel like doing it a second time.
I don't see an issue with posting about LHS in a certain locale if people are in travel.. No one is going "against" the TB advertisers here necessarily.. They are just interested in one way to get info.
Here's a link to a site with several holiday displays in the DC area http://dc.about.com/od/hoildaysseasonalevents/a/modeltrains.htm I also found this link http://home.comcast.net/~potomac_nmra/local_interesting.html
I don't mind a post with a "directory" of stores in the area. The problem is that people usually editorialize on the quality of stores and that's where my e-mail box goes crazy and I have to argue with people. Charlie
