Hello to all and it nice to have just registered to what appears to be a great site for model railroading.
I am interested to know if anyone has any former knowledge of Arbour model train kits, and if so would let me know. I recently acquired an Arbour kit specifically a Pennsylvania railroad, Allegheny 2-6-6-6. All parts are accounted for and the kit is awesome though at times hair pulling to say the least. Also does anyone know if arbour is still in business. This kit is probably from the 2002/2003 era and know they no longer produce the loco kits but don't know if their still in business or not. Any help as to this posting I would sincerely appreciate.

You are correct in that a Arbor model is a handful to build, though a great looking kit even the best modelers tend to shy away from them because of the difficulty of assembling them, made of zinc-cadium alloy they are not for the faint of heart.
I think Arbor went out of business in the late 70s or early 80s. Also the Allengheny was built originally for the C&O and Virginian RR PENNSY never owned a copy.Heres wishing you Good luck with this beast.
