I have not been to a swap meet for railroadiana in a long time. I have a lot of old Locomotive and Rail History, Classic Trains, Vintage Rails, and other magazines. Does anyone buy these at swap meets anymore? I want to free up some space and may consider donating them to a museum or NRHS chapter. Any ideas or experiences you have had?
    Thanks.

Sell 'em here if you can. I know I sold a run of N-Scale and some other stuff I had.

Well, I for one still purchase these things by the dozens at each train show. You are probably better off donating them as they don't tend to be worth to much anymore. You could sell them, but I typically see an asking price of 25 to 1 dollar at each show.

Which magazines? The older Railroad pulp paper type issues? some of those do have a little value.

No pulp ones, Ken. Wish I had some. I remember reading them on the front porch of my neighbor, "Molly" Long, a NYC hogger. He would always let me read his and I had dreams of someday seeing these great locomotives that they featured. A lot of them ran right by us, New York Central Hudsons, Mohawks and Niagaras. The ones I dreamed of seeing had "Union Pacific" or "Southern Pacific" or "Chesapeake and Ohio" and other roads on their tenders.
