I just starting in G Scale size trains. I have a garden I'm currently working to build. I have purchased quite a bit of rolling stock and several engines. I have lots of time in HO trains, and command control going back to the 1980's. I converting all my engines to battery operation both HO and G and DCC operation. I can't for the life of me figure how this engine comes apart. I didn't want to just start pulling screws and parts that don't need removal. If someone has a diagram it would be very helpful.
    thanks steve

I wish I had a diagram to share but taking that engine apart is pretty simple. You have around 4-6 screws under the frame. Unscrew them and pull up.
If you are uncomfortable doing so, ill gladly take pictures of mine being opend up and post them later this evening and do a full step by step.
