Seems like no one noticed... Atlas site says they shipped on 5/19 to distributors.:tb-biggrin: Finally I can get some track laid.

Timing is everything! I am awaiting custom curved turnouts to arrive after just cancelling the Atlas variety.

Where did you see that? The A-Z Shipping Schedule is still blank.

Are you kidding me, surely it can’t be true and if it is, I have a place for one right now. It is perfect timing, I wounder how long it will be in my hands.

That reminds me, I have a preorder of some from a couple of years ago. I wonder if that’s still good.

That sounds good. I need several for the curved entrance into my new yard. I hope the QC is better than on their #5's. My failure rate (shorts) was about 50% on those.

    That doesn’t sound too promising.

I seriously thought about using his stuff, but decided to change my track plan so I would have no need for curved turnouts.

I did! 22"/18" No.10's which should fit in very nicely with the 22" curves I already allowed for. I suspect they are in transit and should be here in the next couple of days.

Mind, with the Atlas curved turnouts nearing arrival I have a good fall back if required.

If you take a look at some of his other stuff you will see that he will do custom work. Like crossovers at a specified centerline spacing. I am willing to bet he will do custom radius to and likely at the same prices posted on ebay. He sent me some photos of these turnouts adjacent the Atlas code 55 track to and it looks good. See attachments.

Nice little side business in my opinion.
