Any one tried out one of the new Atlas Fair banks Morse units? They look very nice, they are just out of era for me. The Canadian Pacific looks great, the echted metal grill is nice too.

Maybe now there next unit will be something alittle more modern. Any one know what it will be?

    Happy RRing,

If you mean the new Fairbanks-Morse TrainMaster, then yes I got one. It's in early PRR livery and only missing the radio phone aerial. I've got a aerial kit that I'll install on her later.
It runs great. Pulls 15-20 cars with ease.
Out pulled the new Atlas SD-35 I also had just purchased.
I built two TrainMasters prior with early and late liverys, from some shells I purchased. I can now lash up three of them.
Plus it adds to my PRR collection.

Minitrix used to make a H12-44 (?) FM switcher. I believe these are still readily available.
There used to be C-Liners made by Rivarossi (I think) many years back, and maybe one or 2 others.

Nice one Dane - the mild touch of sarcasm in your reply was totally lost on those who posted the subsequent replies!

Have the Minitrix H10-44 FM switcher (PRR's 1st FM locomotive), the FM FF16 C-Liner made by Rivarossi and the FM FF20 Eire Builds by ConCor. Only missing the FS16 road switcher to complete my PRR FM power.
The TrainMaster was a welcome site.
Wasn't sure if another FM on the market?

The latest Atlas website says that the next release of Trainmasters in November will include Wabash paint scheme. If this is the two tone livery I have seen in recent photos, I must get at least one of these units - easier said than done in the UK, however!
