I was just on the Atlas web site (www.atlasrr.com) and they announced that they are coming out with hi-hood GP38's and GP40's in Novemeber. Road names include N&W and Southern, and also Guilford. The N&W will be in blue and gold scheme, southern in the black and aluminum. The Southern and N&W will have two different road numbers plus one without a number. I can't wait!!! I think the money I have been holding for the Stewart Hi-hood Alco's may end up in Atlas' pocket. But check out the Atlas site for more info under latest product news to get more details. ------------------ A.J. y6b N&W and Conrail Fan http://communities.msn.com/TheGRRModelRR
I didn't check out their page, but if they are built on the new GP40 molds(GP38 as well) they should be nice...
I ordered both undecs to paint in the last N&W paint scheme. Anybody has any good pics? ------------------ Cass Telles Railroads of NW Ohio
Don't know why they're doing these in Guilford. All Guilford's GP40s came from Conrail, and they had (have) GP38-2s. They did have HH SD45s that were ex N&W. ------------------ Corey Lynch Pres - Rensselaer Model RR Society NEB&W RR http://www.rpi.edu/~lynchc/Railfanning/railfanning.htm - My Site http://www.union.rpi.edu/railroad/ - NEB&W
