Amazing! Lets see, what other small wildlife for the San Pablo Bay shoreline can I propose.... :tb-tongue:
My experience (don't ask) is that sea gull poop is more ubiquitous than the sea gulls themselves. Great work anyway!
Jerry, I have an old bottle of Floquil antique white that has become quite lumpy over time. You are welcome to it if you like.
And Jerry, Don't forget to use it all over the windshield of cars parked under any light poles! I wondered why there was an open spot so close to the door.
Having spent a ton of time around western Washington salt water, I can vouch for their dive bombing skills.... Far from any light pole!
My experience at water's edge on the Gulf Coast is that the white blobs on rocks, breakwaters, and docks have black streaks through them. Oh yeh, don't forget to have five or six fighting over the remains of the sandwich I had just started, but set down to take a drink of an adult beverage...#%@& gulls ! :tb-hissyfit:
Been a very busy week! But I did manage to get some supplies and a new saw and miter box so I can start cutting and fitting some pieces together. Hopefully some new photos this weekend.
Got one part cut, glued and painted, and if Caleb would ever start his nap I might be able to see how it looks/fits and try adding some piping. LOL
Here's the cut and painted piece I finished today. Pipes will run down the hill, across this piece, and to a building on the other side.
Since the next step is to glue this to the bridge, I figured I better get some weathering on the bridge before it starts getting too fragile. Since its going to be semi dark and in a corner, I went a little darker and heavier on the supports so it will stand out better after everything is attached.
