JD...so glad to see you back & well ! Haven't been here often, of late myself...but, got a note on your post from TB. Looking forward to the modeling (and culinary ideas from the re-purposed wildlife from the layout - a new Railroad Cookbook ?)
Good to have you back here on TB, Jerry. For a while there I thought we were going to have to send out the NMRA Ninja's to find you. Those pictures and look at what we've been missing. Thanks for helping Jerry out Mike....nice! I hate it when the computer crashes, wildlife eats and defecates on the model railroad. Then those little mouse like rodents move into the city structures and it's time to call in the vector control aka mousers. Now, how do we get rid of the vector control war party? They like it so well they've moved into and are nesting in the mountain. Sound familiar? Hoping these greetings find you well and healthy and your family doing great. Welcome home!
I'm thinking Jerry needs a "Hide-A-Key Rock" out by his train room...so he doesnt ever get locked out of it again...:teeth:
Lets try a video....
Beautiful, just absolutely beautiful. The entire scene is so perfectly 1:1. There's no indication that it's a model, except maybe the lack of stack smoke. Although the Cheyenne crew knows how to operate 844 with no smoke as evidenced by many YouTube videos. So maybe it is a video taken from a chopper, who knows......
That water looks as good to me as when you first created the scene. I wonder how the area will look with a restored Big Boy rolling through....
Jerry, will you have time to get back with TVRM? It would be great to see you filling the right seat of 4501 or 630 once again.
I have already been up there testing, and passed When we can get my schedule to smooth out some more I will be up there running 4501 and 630.
Great news. It would be neat if you would be allowed to take cab videos as you did in years past. If mgmt. wasn't happy with that, just tell them the videos were cab shots on the ATSF Line. OK, maybe the trackside scenery in Tennessee and Alabama isn't quite like what you'd see along the California coast, but hey....LOL
