Curious...is there a process or program (software/hardware etc) that is available to transfer audio cassette recordings onto a CD/DVD? Thanks Mike
I work with digital audio for a living. You can use a lot of software record but there is a cheap little program called Total Recorder that records analog (or any) sources in real time. It works well and you can save the audio as a .wav and burn directly to CD then. Charlie
I use "Total Recorder" also - great little proggie!! Simple and gets the job done. Ditto here on using the line outputs from your tape deck into the "line in" of your sound card. Also, it's a good idea to MUTE all other sound sources while you record... wouldn't want to have blips, bleeps or other system sounds show up in the middle of your track. Good luck! -Mike
