I mainly run Aristocraft and USA Trains so naturally all of my couplers are one of the two. I am thinking purchasing a Bachmann 4-6-0 in the future, I have no Bachmann Trains in g scale so I know zip about them. The Bachmann coupler looks similar to Aristo but I know looks don't always mean anything, can the Bachmann coupler coupler to an Aristo Coupler or be switched out for an Aristo coupler?

    Yes and no.
If you close both, and jam the Bach in from the top into the Aristo, it will work..for a while until one pops open.
The Aristo has a shelf on the bottom to keep them from lifting out of each other, so you cannot push the Aristo down into the Bach.
You can adapt an Aristo to the Bach truck tang.
    Be careful.....avoid 4-6-0 versions 1,2,3,and 4.
5, the Anniversary edition was better, actually best of all, six is supposed to be better yet, but I quit buying.

The anniversary I have is still going strong. I would just get new couplers for everything they aren't too expensive.

I've got 2 reefers and a boxcar, from Bachmann. The couplers are way too low to couple
to USA or Aristo cars. My K27 was the same. But, with a Kadee installed, it matches
USA, Aristo and AMS couplers perfectly! The stock coupler hung way too low.
A Kadee on a Bachmann reefer is even way too low. Would require body mount at a minimum.

You could possibly switch couplers, but something may either be too high or too low to couple correctly.
Although, with my K27 out of service, because of faulty counterweights, I have not had a need to check
    coupler swaps and/or compatibility issues!
