Sure would put the hurt to Lionel. Bachmann has some great stuff and some real junk. I was hoping Bachmann would venture into the scale side of O instead of the 3-Rail side. The deal is supposed to be announced officially at a trade show early next month. I wonder if Bachmann will show up at the big TCA York meet this fall. Greg
hmmm I can't see anything against letting them buy it. This could make a significant diference in o gauge products.

The junk part could be a worry. They have done a few real stinkers. A lot of On30 folks seem quite unhappy with the camp cars. Slip up once, or perhaps twice. However, more, and the Tinplate folks likely will not tolerate it. They'll walk away real fast. Boxcab E50
