on 22/10/2010 I had a bad case of train craving so I walk to Thonburi Shop for some fixing DMU standing by for passenger extra My kind of superstar He won't go out and pull tonnage for a while (Ouch!!)
on 23/10/10 I come out and get my steam fixing the media just caught the steam bug the yard crew yanked train 140 off the concourse off we go
My ladies and I need some chow... SRT has to suspend or short-turn many trains in the northern line due to washout between Ban Pa Whai and Lop Buri station and a quiet day at the station A cement train come by
Train 201(Bangkok-Pitsanulok{short-turned at Ban Pa Whai}) steps in A DMU jumps in The MOW rushed some parts to the site Another cement train
Train 202 (Ban Pa Whai-Bangkok) lays it on Track machine make quite a haste thru here Train 72 (Sri Khorapum-Bangkok) drops by
Wish I was there! I always pay a visit to Thonburi when I visit Thailand. It is one of railways hidden gems and should be much better known. The staff are really friendly and let you wander anywhere you like taking pictures. Keep posting pictures of the active steam locos when they are running. They always seem to run when I'm not there!
Tour guides bid us a farewell keep going... keep going... keep going... keep going... Train 136 blasted by us
I'd like to conclude the run with this Unfortunately, My train limped Into Rang Sit for a very long troubleshooting(Poor steaming), so when the stationmaster annouced that Train 146 (Ubon Ratchathani-Bangkok) is the last inbound of the day, I changed the train and get home
