Went to Berea today. Very slow day, Even on the NS. Did get shot of UP motive power times three with one unit being flag logo. Missed an opportunty to get shot of Maersk painted NS GP-59 at Rockport yard. Saw it on the way, figured I'd get it on the way home but it was gone when I went by. Going through Euclid though on the way home, I saw the BNSF Exec scheme unit coal train just east of the CSX fueling facility. Swung off the freeway, drove up and got two shots of it. So the day wasn't a complete wash.
Thanks for posting those great shots! I know you hate that you missed the NS Maersk unit, and I can understand that.... I shot CSX 699 "Diversity" unit recently, however the lighting was not very favorable. Almost as frustrating as not getting the shot at all.... Harold
Nice shots Warren! I hear ya on the missed shot as I had missed CSX #801 3 damn times! GRRRRRR The slick monster caught me without my camera! Doubtfull I'll ever have those 3 chances again, let alone one of the 3 so..
