Hi, In a brazen act of stupidity, but I bought a Berkshire 2-8-4 Polar Express engine on ebay... within the first day of its arrival, only reverse and neutral works. (forward is just another neutral) I've looked inside to discover a couple of sloppy soldering points which can be easily corrected. Here's my question: I've looked at the lionel schematics, and the circuit board in my engine doesn't match the diagrams from Lionel... hmmm... Anyway, after giving me a boot to the head for using ebay, can anyone tell me what type of train comes with the Lionel circuit board "691-DREU-A", with its main chip being "DREU A02"? It would be nice to know what I'm dealing with before going any farther. As a second question (after looking through the Lionel parts list), what is the difference between the DREU A02 chip and the DREU AM1 chip? Thanks!
