While not strictly DCC related, I thought I might share my latest project. I like using JMRI and Engine Driver for android. The problem is, I miss having a physical throttle wheel. Well, I found a fix. I noticed engine driver accepted the volume up and down buttons to control throttle. Using a cheap cell phone case, an Adafruit Trinket, a rotary encoder, and scroll wheel (last two stolen from a cheap mouse), I now have a physical dial. Here is were I got the idea and code for the trinket. https://learn.adafruit.com/trinket-usb-volume-knob/overview Ill try to upload some photos and/or video tomorrow.
