Tell me about it. My dream of this is a little closer to a nightmare.

When things don't show up on time, now you will know the difference between what we are told by our suppliers and what actually happens. Hans is right: this is what they all *claim* as of right now, but experience has taught me to believe it once the boxes are in the warehouse.

Right now, I feel best about delivery on the Well Cars and Containers.

RDC and GP30 will be the first locomotives out the door, but I really don't believe their schedule right now. Still too many unknowns.

    Best,

Big Boy is a brass release and we will soon get back with the RDC roadname releases. Expect one roadname a month. We hae a good mix including B&M, NYC, CP, NH, SP, ATSF and WP. Both RDC-1 and RDC-2 in the mix.

RDCs! Already got mine reserved! One RDC-1 and one RDC-2. That is actually all the LIRR owned. Really looking forward to these!

Since several members have put in their request, here is mine.

    "Pennsylvania Reading Seashore Lines"

They had a fleet of 50-60 units and operated between Philadelphia and the South NJ resort coast of Ocean City, Wildwood, Cape May and inland through Vineland to Millville.
They were primarly used for commute services but had midday runnings.
I remember them when I was a kid, waaaay back when...

We originally were going to make the C44-9W and AC4400 at the same time. We will make the AC4400 first and later make the C44-9W.

Since we are on the topic of steam, we will have a Big Boy prototype in May! This prototype will be shown at NTS as well.

    Yes.
Waiting for a GP30 & 38. When those are released, can something else using the same length follow? How about a GP or F40??

After many months, we are starting to test production Big Boys! If testing progresses well, we will release these giants soon. Some of you may have caught onto the latest Big Boy news; Union Pacific is evaluating Big Boy 4014 for possible return to steam! UPs comment on the project has been: "Not a difficult task, just a big one!" Rob and I feel likewise with the Z version.

Yes ! Monster tractors ! Yet they always seem so small in Z :)

UP's Chief Engineer was out in Sacramento for the 150th with #844. He said the Challenger is still in pieces but will be back together in about 2 years. Good to hear about the Big Boy. But like its Challenger brother, it will never run on the mains ! It's *way* to heavy for any trackage out there.

No problem, put it on our tracks !

I don't believe it until I see it but I sure would like to have one sitting in my yard waiting for a green signal.
