This evening I became the proud owner of SLSF E8 number 2020 (named "Big Red")- well, actually, the model of said E8 as built by LifeLike. This is from the first run of the Proto2000 line. I ran it on the layout, both with and without cars coupled to it. All I can say is that it runs SWEEEEEEEEEEEET, and looks as great as it runs. LL nailed the "racehorse" passenger scheme dead solid on. If LL's latest run is half as good as this one, I would implore you to go out & scarf down an E or two, regardless of paint scheme (Well OK, no Penn Central ) Now to work on the consist of the Meteor......
