    Justin,
It's a shame to cut into that loco on the track, and the fence is brilliant. Your wife can make my birthday cake anytime.

    Shamus,
The fence was actually purchased at a cake shop, the track is black licorice with Kit-Kat's for ties, crushed Pecan cookies made up the ballast, the river was blue Jello Gelatin with candy swedish fish and green coconut shavings for grass.
Not pictured was an elaborate Gingerbread station. The reason it isn't showing is because it wouldn't stand, the whole thing collapsed before I even got to see it (she wouldn't let me anywhere near the kitchen until is was finished). It was sad, she felt so badly :( . I was thrilled that she thought to put something like this together for me and she spent a full day doing it. It was a great surprise. I'm lucky to have a wife that supports my love of the hobby.

    Sweet cake, dude!
My mom made one like that when I turned 8...
Oreo wheels, licorice tracks, black jelly beans as tender coal.. the whole deal!
My wife loves the hobby as much as I do.. It is a perfect match, only she likes the 1880's era, and I like the modern day era... I didn't know that the steamer 'Jupiter' stretched its legs on the BNSF mainline!?!
