How do you tell the difference between a pre-1995 Blomberg truck and a post-1995 Blomberg truck? Thanks for any help.....
Can't see any obvious differences on F59PHIs built before or after 1995... There are quite a few Blomberg M trucks... note that all have the characteristic single brake cylinder and single snubber on each side frame... The first is the one used on -2s from 1972 that utilized a rubber spring in place of the metal leaf spring used prior on the Blomberg Bs... Next up is the one used on Southerns GP40Xs (as built) and many F40PHs... this one has a reversed leaf spring... After that you have the one used on the GP59s and GP60s... this one reverts to the metal leaf spring and has an anti-rocking snubber on one side of the truck. The last version is the same as above, but has an anti-rocking snubber on both sides of the truck
