Here are the first pics of the Blue Star Plant. I will get better ones tomorrow. Daylight will bring out the weathering effects, you can't see them at all in these photos but you will get the general idea. [ 28 June 2001: Message edited by: Trainart ] [ 05 July 2001: Message edited by: Trainart ]
Very well done weathering and detail Trainart! I have one question: What is the little box at the bottom with all the partitions, (looks like a box of 22 cal. rifle shells)?
Great work. I'm just getting into building structures and having a problem getting the aged concrete look. If it's possible could you tell me the sequence of colors and the application technique you used; it looks fantastic. Thanks, Jim
Trainart, you do some beautiful work! Watash, you're right, looks like a box of .22 shorts. Well, not from being around the part of the country with Blue Star plants, but I've heard they can be a dangerous place, better to be armed, I always say.
Never occured to me but it does look like a cartridge box. What it actually is is the loader for the raw materials that go up the conveyor to the top of the structure for the combining process to make the cement.
