so was bn's last paint scheme for the company (besides 70mac) the one where the sd40-2's had both the white face, bn logo on nose, and the white line separating the black top and green hood, along with the painted white bottom (near walkway)? also did the bn ever have sd40-2's with the nose wheel brake?
Yes, regarding the paint. Check the 6700s for brakewheels on the nose. Some in the 6720s for sure did. The former Frisco units in the 6840 series had them. The low 7000s had them. Low 7800s too. Low 8000s. Hope this gives you a good idea.
I think I caught BN 7890 (now a Helm leaser) a while back.... Still an interesting paint scheme! Harold
i think 7890 is now in bnsf scheme. however 7149, which i think is what you might of saw if this was within the last year or so, is still in the RLM scheme. did you get a pic of it?
