Yes, they survived into BNSF, but they were retired to a Colorado testing facility sometime in mid-1998 I believe.
I happened to bring a book along for my trip: EMD's SD60 Series. The very last page of the book has a foldout drawing of the BN SD60MAC. I did not realize that the SD60MAC was longer than the other SD60's. According to the drawings, a straight SD60 & SD60M were 67'5", while the SD60MAC's were 69'10". Harold
Just as SD70MACs are longer than standard SD70's, the 60MACs were longer than standard 60s. You can see the extra length behind the grills at the rear of the long hood. I don't remember what the extra length was for, but it was something about the AC that caused it.
