Hi all, I'm more a SP/SSW/DRGW fan. However I do also like BNSF and recently started with a friend a web page to display BNSF pictures. We just started recent so theres not a lot but new pictures are being uploaded everyday. Its not intended to be a sorce of info just perhaps help a modeler locate a picture or two. Address is http://www.geocities.com/esprrfan/BNSF.html Duane
Great photo site Duane That unit that was involved in a grade crossing accident was a spooky photo . It's a thing that we railroaders dread to have happen
I'm sure you do dread a incident, I would too. Too often after a wreck everyone over looks the other victims, the crew of the train who seconds before accomplished everything they could to avoid it and at the moment of impact are just as helpless as the people in the car. The machine may be cold steel but inside are 2-3 living, breething people with feelings! I'm sure after being involved in a accident sleep don't come easy for the crew especially if eye contact was made with people in the care. Thank god for peer groups!
Thanks for the excellent pictures, Duane The site is bookmarked in my 'western roads' folder The photo of the SD45-2 clearly shows the wide spacing of the fans. Modellers cannot have too many photographs of our favourite locomotive types. Keep 'em coming
