I am going to do the MTL conversion on my LifeLike F7. Has anyone removed the truck couplers and installed body mount? I know that MTL has a chart that shows their recommendation but, I just wanted to ask the group this question.
Way back when Sunrise made a series of plow pilots that replaced the cast on pilot. They accepted a MT1015/16 and hat is what I used on both the Bmann and the LL with those glaring openings. Since Sunrise has been long out of business and I don't know if anybody picked up the tooling, you may try EBay or Amazon to try a find some. They came in packages of singles and threes with several designs based on the roads that used them. I also believe that Detail Associates mad a similar line. I believe the rear used a T shank MT that was either the 1128, 29, or 30 depending on space needed between units.
