I was looking at the list of known Katy Depot locations and the one that caught my eye was Bonham (northeast of town). I live in Bonham and I am also a new member of the Katy Model Railroad Club of Denison so I have a dual interest in this information. Could this be the old Windom Depot?, it is on the east side of town but still in town. I have some other railroad mysteries for Bonham I would like to hunt down but this one would make a good start. Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to TrainBoard!

Although I am not knowledgeable of the Katy, I enjoy following North American depot topics.

Here is a link which might help:

IIRC, there was a branch of the Katy that ran from Denison southeastward to Bonham. Perhaps the folks at Railspot or the MKT group (both on Yahoo) can help- there are a couple of very knowledgeable KAty folks on both boards.

You say you've joined the Katy MRC- is that the one in the old office building, or has it relocated?

    And, welcome to Trainboard!

    Katy MRC in Denison

The Katy MRC is currently located in a antique store called Antique Station right across the street from the Katy Depot in Denison. They meet on Saturdays starting at about noon until 4 to 5 in afternoon.

OK, I know where you guys are- last I checked, you fellas were building a model of Ray Yard in HO scale. Glad to know there's an alternative to the Red River club in Sherman.
