Finally finished Volume 2 of the Moffat Tunnel of Colorado. Book review, Part 2 will be posted sometime Wed AM. After I get home from work. With more specifics. Briefly: Deals more with the economic side of things, before and after the completion of tunnel. Also contains short biographies of many prominent folks in Denver. Many of them who were directly involved with the tunnel, and many who were indirectly involved. In MY opinion, not quite as interesting as Volume 1, but still a very interesting/fascinating read! Discovered that the DPL - Denver Public Library - Has 7 copies of this book set available! Including signed set #389. Would highly recommend one read it, if they're interested. and can locate a copy! Well worth the reading.
Finally, a review of Volume 2. Before I fall asleep in front of computer. Again! I would highly recommend one of the following: 1. Borrow a copy from Library, if available, or by inter library loan! 2. IF it could be afforded, buy a complete set! As long as financially possible! Sad thing is, I know where to obtain several copies of Volume 1 alone! But, prices start at about $297!!
