I'm only halfway thru it, but this is a must-have for any western RR buff, Santa Fe nut, or someone interested in the days before railroad dining cars! The book is well-written, gives vivid accounts of conditions of depot cafes before the Harvey Houses, defacto history of the beginnings/operations of Harvey Houses. This copy was borrowed from a friend, who bought it at the Harvey House museum in Belen, NM. I just wish I could have experienced the Harvey Houses in their heyday.
