The Fullerton Amtrak/Metrolink station is nearby and is a very popular hangout for railfans in Orange County. Lots of BNSF freight and Amtrak and Metrolink passenger action. Address: 120 East Santa Fe Avenue, Fullerton, CA

Yes, the UP Marlboro Local still runs on the street.

The UP local into Brea runs sporadically at best. Its only customer in Brea is Pacific Plastics at Berry St. If you want a place to really watch trains, just take Brea Blvd south to wear it merges with Harbor Blvd, and continue on Harbor to the Fullerton Amtrak station. There is ample parking, food, restroom facilities etc. If you continue south on Harbor, you will get to wear the UP still runs in the street. I grew up in Brea and was just out there a couple of months ago. Good hunting!
