Join us for an afternoon of news, pleasant fellowship, good time, and great memories. The luncheon will start with a cash bar at 11:30 a.m., with the ever-popular buffet at 12 Noon. The buffet items will include mixed green salad and caesar salad, chicken parmesan, roast top sirloin of beef, chef's choice of potato or rice and vegetable, Italian bread and butter, fudge brownies, and coffee or tea. The luncheon price, $15 per person, includes gratuities. The after-lunch program will feature D&H retiree Bill Bibby, who will talk about his D&H memories. Included will be a question and answer period, and even some slides. This should really bring back the memories!

2007 Spring Luncheon Your Bridge Line Historical Society's Spring Luncheon will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Brook's House of Bar-B-Que in Oneonta, N.Y.; the telephone number is 607-432-1782. Join us for an afternoon of news, pleasant fellowship, good time, and great memories. Check in for the luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the ever-popular buffet at 12 Noon. The buffet items will include barbecued chicken, ribs and roast beef, plus tossed salad, potato salad, cole slaw, dinner rolls, beverages and a make your own sundae or fresh baked cake with icing. The luncheon price, $17/adults and $12.50/children 12 and under, includes gratuities. The after-lunch speaker will be Jim Loudon, who will speak on the history of the Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley Railroad. His talk will be followed by what should be a very entertaining slide show, by Gardiner Cross, on his 2003 trip to Mongolia's Jing Pass in China. That was the last stronghold for China's mountain steam operations.
