"The Miami-based intercity rail service announced it would build the station at the Disney Springs shopping, dining and entertainment complex at the resort." ... "The concept for the proposed Disney station includes a ground-level lobby, passenger facilities and an upper level train platform. Exact location of the station and timeline on completion were not immediately available from Disney or Brightline." https://www.bizjournals.com/orlando/news/2020/11/23/brightline-enters-agreement-with-disney.html Sent from my moto g(7) play using Tapatalk
It's good that Brightline is expanding. I think we are quick to doubt passenger rail projects, but it seems like Brightline is doing well for themselves.
Not discussed in this article, but seen elsewhere are Brightline's eventual plans to have a station in or near Cocoa Beach so that they can ferry passengers from Orlando Airport to the cruise ships that dock there. Currently, all of those folks land at the airport and take an hour drive on a bus or other shuttle service. Sent from my moto g(7) play using Tapatalk
