Looks like on 2nd story you attached styrene to the shell.

The roof of the lower building is wet or dry abrasive paper. When the upper part is finished I will attach with Evo-Stik contact adhesive. I will cut away the abrasive paper where the upper building will go to make the adhesive work better.

The first part (original lower part is made of MDF. The upper part just added is styrene. (Ran out of thin MDF).

I thought so, did it come in the width you wanted or did you have to rip it to that width?

It comes in 8' x 4' sheets in thicknesses from 2mm to about 30mm. The fascia and the backdrop are cut from 3mm thickness, the buildings are made from the same stuff. I get the shop to cut to 4'x 2' for ease of getting in car! I used 12mm thickness for main baseboards.

Just acquired a brand new Atlas RS3 with factory fitted sound for a snip! I swapped shells, sideframes and fuel tank with my AWR RS3, so now I have a sound equipped Andersley Western locomotive! Does not look any different, but sure sounds better! :)
