Here's my first HO kit completed. Thanks to those who gave me some roofing info! thumbnail_IMG_3728.jpg thumbnail_IMG_3729.jpg thumbnail_IMG_3730.jpg thumbnail_IMG_3731.jpg thumbnail_IMG_3732.jpg thumbnail_IMG_3733.jpg

    Sweet! :)

I was looking at the photo through the front windows, and was thinking that's the kind of building that could be turned into a diner with a drive-thru window (or two!) with some minor modifications. It has the look for it.

    Great work!(y)

Turned out great! I like the subtle weathering and the plant that decided it was perfectly happy growing up there where there was plenty of sunlight. (y)

    Cheers -Mike

Very nicely done. I am quite happy to see your weathering makes it look used, but not so that it is run down.

It's the Walthers Silver Springs Bus Terminal and Roomettes interior kit to go with it. I wasn't sure at the time about securing my own curved glass so I used the kit stuff which isn't as clear as I would have liked. After the fact I figured I could have used 2 sided tape to put on some clear sheet and it would have turned out better. I got the bus at a flea market (actually 2 of them for $15). I have been looking for awhile for an old Greyhound but could only find newer styles available online.
