Hoping that the various manufacturers read the various boards as a sort of "feed-back" for their efforts, I raise a question. The New Haven is represented on my New England layout by various PA's, FA's, GP's, RS's, and several Atlas C-Liners from days gone by. I have lovingly kept my small fleet of C-Liners running but think it would be nice to put them in my Museum for Honored N-Scale Locomotives from the past (they're 30 years-plus old!) but do enjoy having them on my layout. Is there anyone out there besides me who think it would be great if LifeLike (or someone else) produced a new 5 axle C-Liner? They would definitely have a place on many of our layouts.

Absolutely! And, I think that Lifelike would be the perfect manufacturer to do it as they have treated us to a lot of great early diesels lately. FA's, and Erie builts announced. Also, they already gave us the 4 axle C-liners, I am sure that they could modify the chassis a bit.
    LL do you hear us?
BTW - That is great that your Atlas C-liners are still alive! My own died several years back.

    Russ,

I still have mine, they've never been run! Not even test run! I picked up a powered and a dummy in PRR (who didn't have "fivers") at a show and then moved twice. Rapidly forgot that I even had them. I keep telling myself that I'm waiting until I get something permanent started. (Now that I have a basement, you'd think that this fat old man would go beyond doors on sawhorses.)

It would be beyond great to have a few 5 axles -- in LIRR.

I've got a set (A-powered A-dummy) of those old Atlas C-liners also. They hold a museum status with me. They stay behind glass in my wall display case.
I can't remember the last time I ran them? I enjoy looking at the spring loaded electric pickup pods on the rear trucks. They are in PRR livery, Tuscan Red.
Purchased a 5-axle C-liner shell from "Father Nature" a few years back. Had this crazy thought of building motor/trucks for it but never got to the project.
