    Hello,

I was wondering, I'm new to DCC and am currently hooking up my Lenz set 90 and am ready to hook up the express net part of the system. Has anyone heard of using cat5 cable for this? I was told that it's a good cable and would be great for what I'm doing since it's made to deflect interferance, is this correct?? All I can tell you is that it's used for networking computer systems. I think it may have 6 wires instead just 4 that I need to hook up the expressnet but, I had thought that I could just leave the other 2 wires unused. Thanks for any advice or information!

    Happy Rails,
    Rick

As long as you can keep the proper wires aligned, you should be O.K.
