CBQ caboose question

    when did the wide vision caboose start showing up on the CB&Q or in general?

    Good question, I don'y know the answer but I'd guess late 60's. Somewhere in there.

    I have noticed that the N version of the CB&Q caboose needs the end ladders for roofwalks switched to the left side instead of the right.

    According to the 1973 BN Annual the CB&Q recieved their first wide vision cabooses in 1964. There were 50 cab's numbered 13590-13639. All were painted in the aluminum with red and black trim paint.
