Recently I saw a image on a shirt and in a magizine of the Conrail "Can Opener" (Wheels on Rails Logo) with the Chessie logo inside of it. I must ask what is that logo about? ------------------ Theres no such thing as having to many coal hoppers or GP40-2 when you model Chessie System LONG LIVE THE KITTEN!!! LONG LIVE BIG BLUE!!! My opoligys to everyone in NC

You'll get the spelling correct once you have practiced some more. I noticed that you have moved to join us in the balmy South. So there's not much south of Charlotte, except Waxhaw...where did you land? Have you figured out all of the good railfan spots yet? I was down there recently... from what I can tell, Charlotte is rapidly expanding out to reach Matthews, Pineville, etc. You should be able to find some trains down there Harold ------------------ Harold Hodnett Fan of NS, CSX, and their predecessors! One pic was showed in the Jan 1997 Railfan mag. The logo is to show the togetherness of Chessie(CSX)and Conrail. It also means that this togetherness was a merger of equals, not a takeover... It was tweaked by someone...
