Given this can apply to any scale, I wanted to ask what methods modelers use to handle/store car loads? Yesterday I got out car loads (coal) that I have stored. Assigning loads to a specific car is easy enough using labels on the bottom of coal loads that gives car manufacturer (ie, Athearn, Atlas, Stewart, etc) and road number. But storage is an issue going say from coal mine to staging yard, and so on. What system do folks here use for organizing and storing loads that continuously transferred back and forth from yards to industries?
