Carl died 2 years ago at Frink Siding on the Yuma Subdivision. He was a lover of whistles & bells. He repaired many gratis for the SP. He was also a railfan & modeler. He was very well liked by coworkers & friends alike. Check out the "Messages" in the link below. With UP's approval, not only is there a SP style station sign for Rogoza, there is now a plaque in Carl's honor. On 3/17/02 coworkers and friends placed the plaque on the north side of the sign. The placement was there to allow the train crews to see it passing by the site. Carl's wife and family were also present. Also with UP's new timetable in April Frink will now be Known as Rogoza. Just goes to show that the biggest Railroad has a heart, I'm glad to hear they obliged to do that, My prayers go out to that family, that's still rough, even after 2 years...thanks for posting.
