Wow, the side rod on the fireman's side is off the engine in that second segment, last video. I heard a rumor that they had a problem--the way the driver is in synch with the others I suspect the side rod on the engineer's side is still installed. Any idea what happened? :tb-confused:
The number 4 crank pins overheated and one burnt up. They had to drop the rear drive rod on both sides and limited to 20mph back to Chattanooga. Back to the shops.
20mph back to Chattanooga!!! Oy Vey!!! Maybe the 611 should be considered, or maybe the NC&STL 576 in Nashville.
