Nice! That came out really, really well. Has me daydreaming about my younger days. How does the trolley work? As hoped?

Thanks, well I haven't run the trolley yet because I don't have the track bumpers yet. They are expected to be delivered today and I can't wait. Someone mentioned sticking a nail in at the ends of the tracks as a temporary bumper, but I was afried that the trolley would run right through it since I only have foam under each end.

The place has been a total disaster for a month and I have to say that it was depressing. There were a few times when I just wanted to quit and get it out of the house, but my wife kept pushing me.

So this morning I got me a cup of coffee and was going sit and enjoy the train finally when I nearly jumped out of my skin walking past the corner of it. I guess the wife put up a “SSSCAT Spray” can to scare the cat from messing with things without telling me. I was lucky to not have dumped coffee all over the display.

Well I'm still waiting for UPS to show up with my bumpers and crossing gate so I went through my train cars and put as many on the tracks as I can. I have 20 cars on the longest track and have a lot more that could go on, but it would be a complete loop of freight cars. Actually I have enough cars and locos to start 2 more lines.

I wish now that I would have gone with my original plan of adding a 4[SUP]th[/SUP] line through Santa’s Village on top directly under the tree. The only problem is that it might be limited to O-27 track with 27” dia loop if I can’t squeeze in 30” FastTrack.

Hey, you did it and in time for the holidays. Salute.

Looking mighty fine and I love the trolley. Passenger trains aren't bad either.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Thanks Rick and a Merry Christmas to you to.

Its funny I fight this every time I do it, but as soon as the trains are moving, I'm REALLY into it. Right now I'm racking my brain trying to figure out how to add a 4th train up on the top level. Its going to have to be a loop-to-loop layout with non-derailing switches run around the room, but the loops are going to have to be small which limits the length of train. I would have loved to have my Polar Express go around Santa’s Village at the top my the North Pole mountain, but I have the extra cars and I know it will be too long.

It reminded me of something from long ago. I do not recall where, but there was an interurban which had the nickname "The Zipper." That was certainly zipping along!

I added Musical Light show to my Ice Skating scene. I actually had to repair it first because the mini plugs had the wires pulled out and I had to solider them back on.

Wow. Great fun! I hope this inspires others to create their own Christmas layout.

I have been asked to do another video showing the whole display so I gave it a try only I used a silly tripod. Well it came out jerky because it didn’t move smoothly, kind of like my bones. LOL
